The Mandel JCC has an outstanding opportunity for a Marketing Manager reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and Membership. The Marketing Manager provides strategic direction for Mandel JCC marketing campaigns across all digital and traditional channels to attract new member participants to The J's Fitness and Aquatics, Early Childhood, Camp, and Arts and Culture programs. Typical duties include, but are not limited to, supervise Marketing department staff associates; strengthen and reinforce the Mandel JCC brand; oversee all online, Organic and Paid Search, and social media; drive continual improvement of the online experience of members and prospective members; collaborate with program managers to develop copy and promotional materials to effectively market and promote their programs services and events; and establish strong relationships with local media outlets.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, or digital communications and at least four years of experience in the traditional and digital marketing field. Strong organization skills and attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and Google analytics are also required. Candidates must have the ability to work well under pressure to manage multiple concurrent tasks, re-prioritize work, and be flexible while meeting deadlines. A passion for health and fitness would be ideal.
